Cross-country skiing in the Salzkammergut

70 km of groomed tracks — right outside the door.

Hintersee sits in the middle of one of Salzburg’s densest cross-country networks. The trail starts a two-minute walk from the hotel. Classic or skating — both are possible on all routes.

The free ski bus runs hourly from 06:00 to 21:00 and takes guests, in their ski gear, to the starting points in Faistenau and nearby.
