Winter hiking at Hintersee

Three marked routes start right from the hotel — for families, the curious, and quiet walkers.

Hintersee lies in the Salzburger Salzkammergut, nestled between the peaks of the Osterhorngruppe. In winter, snow blankets the forests and lakeside paths — the trails remain easy to walk. Three signposted routes start near the village center and are also suitable for dogs.
